Refer a Friend - Terms and Conditions

1. Eligibility – Referred Friend

To be eligible to participate in the Refer a Friend programme, the referred individual must:

  • Be aged 18 years or over.

  • Have a valid mobile phone number.

  • Apply for a Lufthansa Group Miles & More Debit Card (UK) using a valid referral link or code.

  • Be successfully approved for the card.

  • Complete their first qualifying transaction using the card (see Section 4 below for details on qualifying transaction).

2. Eligibility – Referrer

To be eligible for referral rewards, the referrer must:

  • Hold an active Lufthansa Group Miles & More Debit Card (UK) account in good standing (i.e. not suspended, restricted, or under investigation);

  • Share their unique referral link or valid referral code.

3. Referral Reward

Both the referrer and the referred friend will receive 1,000 Bonus Miles once the referred friend has:

  • Successfully applied and been approved for the card, and

  • Completed their first qualifying transaction

Bonus Miles will be credited to the respective Miles & More accounts within 14 calendar days after the qualifying transaction has been successfully completed, subject to verification checks.

4. Qualifying Transaction

The first transaction must be:

  • A genuine purchase made using the card.

  • Successfully processed and not cancelled, reversed, or refunded.

Transactions that are refunded, reversed, or deemed invalid may result in the removal of awarded Bonus Miles from both accounts.

5. Exclusions

Bonus Miles will not be awarded if:

  • The referred individual already holds, or previously held, a Lufthansa Group Miles & More Debit Card (UK).

  • The application or transaction is identified as fraudulent, abusive, or otherwise in breach of the Terms and Conditions.

  • The referred individual cancels or closes their account within 90 calendar days of approval.

  • The qualifying transaction is reversed, refunded, or invalidated.

6. Referral Limits

There is currently no limit to the number of friends a customer can refer. Referrers may earn Bonus Miles for each successful referral, subject to compliance with these Terms and Conditions.

7. General

  • Bonus Miles are non-transferable, have no cash value, and cannot be exchanged for cash.

  • We reserve the right to amend, suspend, or withdraw the Refer a Friend programme at any time, acting reasonably and without unfairly affecting rewards already earned.

  • We reserve the right to introduce referral limits where reasonably necessary to prevent misuse or abuse of the programme.

  • Referrals must be made for personal, non-commercial purposes. Referral links or codes must not be distributed through paid advertising, unsolicited communications, coupon or discount websites, or any other channel intended for mass distribution.

  • All referrals are subject to verification and compliance checks.
